After every optimization, OptimCut checks the result on its own: all parts placed on boards, no overlaps, no cuts longer than the machine can handle and no strips too narrow for the blade.
Furniture, stock and materials
Furniture recipes by category
Describe a furniture unit once, with its parts, material, edge banding and grain, and at cutting time just choose how many you are making. Recipes are organized into categories (kitchens, wardrobes, dressers) and can include sub-assemblies: drawers, doors, shelves.
Board stock with offcuts
New boards and reusable offcuts live in the same stock. After cutting, the boards used are deducted automatically, and good offcuts can be added back for the next order.
Grain, edge banding, board trimming and pre-milling
Every part keeps its grain direction and the edge banding on each side. Board trimming and pre-milling of edge-banded parts are applied automatically in the calculation, so the final dimensions come out exact.

Step-by-step cut sheet
The saw operator sees which piece to pick up, what measurement to set on the fence and what gets cut off. By default, the cutting order follows the piece in hand, so the board is turned over as rarely as possible.
Diagrams, labels, PDF and CSV
Dimensioned cutting diagrams, labels to stick on parts, the complete sheet in color or black and white, and CSV export for Excel: board requirements, cutting list, edge banding requirements and offcuts.
Saved sheets
Every confirmed cutting job is saved in Optimization results and can be reopened, printed or downloaded at any time within the next 6 months.

Five languages
The app, this website and the user manual are available in Romanian, English, Bulgarian, Serbian and Turkish.
Works on your phone too
The interface adapts to the phone screen with a mobile-friendly menu, and PDF documents come out at A4 page width.
Free Trial and Pro
The Trial account is free, with 3 optimizations per month. The Pro plan costs 20 EUR per month and includes 20 optimizations per day, the Precise method and orders of up to 300 parts. Payment is made online by card, via Stripe.
Secure account and in-app support
Sign in with email and password or with your Google account. Message us directly from the account menu, and important announcements appear right inside the app.
